As we all know, the Galaxy S9 Series has lost support for Android updates, and now security updates. The May 2022 security update was the last security update for the Galaxy S9 Series, leaving the phones vulnerable to internet viruses and attacks. Android 10 (One UI 2.5) is the last Android version for the phones. You could install LineageOS 20 (Android 13) for the phones. But, you will NOT get security updates and it is vulnerable to internet viruses, attacks and app with viruses. Google apps will not work properly because the ROM is not Play Protect certified. If you want Android 13 (One UI 5.1) you will need to upgrade. Your device will still work but it won't be safe anymore.

It turns out that Lineage is PP certified, just like PE (dead), crDroid, Evolution X (reworked), etc
