Galaxy SThank you for your inquiry regarding system updates on your Galaxy S23 Ultra.
If your device has not received a system update since 1st August 2025, and you are also not seeing the latest Google security updates, this is likely due to one of the following reasons:
Your device region/carrier build may receive updates on a staged schedule. Updates are rolled out gradually, and timing can vary by country or carrier.
Your current software version may already be the latest available for your specific region and model.
Google Security updates are delivered as part of the regular monthly or quarterly Android security release schedule, depending on region and update policy.
Please try the following:
- Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for any available updates manually.
- Ensure the device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and has sufficient battery charge.
- If no updates are shown, it means that no new software has been released yet for your region/model, or it is still in staged rollout. Samsung regularly releases updates, including security patches, and they may appear soon based on approval schedules.
- We recommend keeping your device updated and regularly checking for updates in the Software update section.
