What phone do you have, if you tweak some pro settings you might even be able to have better definition without the telescope...

There's a few ways but try using pro mode and adjust your ISO and Aperture and shutter speed, there's a few videos on YouTube, have a try, doesn't hurt and you might very be surprised by the results...
