It’s May 11, 2026, and my Galaxy S25 Ultra is still stuck on One UI 8.0 (Android 16, April security patch). According to the roadmap and rollout expectations, many regions should have at least started receiving One UI 8.5 by now — but there’s absolutely nothing on my device.
I’ve already checked:
Software update manually multiple times
Stable internet connection
No carrier restrictions on my side
Yet, I’m still seeing “Your software is up to date.”
This is frustrating, especially for a flagship device like the S25 Ultra. Early adopters and premium users shouldn’t be left in the dark while updates roll out unevenly without clear communication.
📌 Samsung, we need clarity:
Is the rollout delayed?
Is it region-specific?
Are there known issues causing the hold-up?
