Galaxy S
I have recently bought a Galaxy S10 and changed the wallpaper which hides the hole punch cutout. The wallpaper has lighter colors in dominance and the status bar icons are almost invisible due to this. They stay white and don't change to a darker colour contrasting the wallpaper colors.
I am on default Samsung's theme and I didn't like few other themes which I came across.
Please help me out on how to tackle this issue

I didn't like other themes as the coloring is too heavy on one or the other page. I just want to see if these icons can be turned dark

Yes status bar icon though adapts to application background but do not adapt to wallpapers. SO if top of your wallpaper is light/white status bar is almost invisible.
