Is it normal for the System to take 65 GBs?
Also, how can I reduce the storage it takes up?

This is on the S22 using One UI 5

Hmmm .... I searched on the Internet and people recommend to factory reset. I don't want to do that. It'll be a hassle. 😞 Guess I'll have to wait and see what anyone recommends or search a bit more 🥴

Hello,

Kindly follow the below steps:

  1. Delete unnecessary apps
  2. Delete temporary files
  3. Put it on the cloud

I have found the solution: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S22/99gb-system-storage/m-p/2430030

I quote: "Right above the system storage, you'll see the row that says "apps" on the far right of it theres a little I in a circle.

Tap that to allow access to apps, so it can see how many there are and how much space they are using. "

It worked for me. After following the instructions, system only contains 39 GB.
