Smart Switch update procedure needed

Can someone share procedure to software update using Smart Switch.

For last update of s9, smart switch showed almost 4+GB update where as OTA update is of 110+MB.

So i got confused and updated with OTA.

yes bro it will show like that only .i did the update even its showing 3gb for my m30s .update is sucessfull and smartphone is all fine with smooth performence

just connect the plug to pc or laptop what ever you are using and check for update in smart switch and it will show you the latest update available.thats it

when u update via smartswitch it contains whole firmware and ota package only effective change update , so smartswitch update will bigger in size
and it's has no glitches.....
other hand ota only update package.....
both required a stable internet connection...
