My s22 ultra is charging extremely slow, taking over 2 and a half hours to charge to 85%. I am using the original charger and cable. Purchased a new one as well but the same thing. Went to the Samsung service centre and they said everything is fine. Anyone else experiencing the same?.

Hi, did you try changing both the cable and charger? And, is the fast charging turned on in the settings?

Try below to see if they help.

Disable fast charging and only enable super fast charging.

On the samsung members app, go to the support tab/phone diagnostics and test the cable charging option.

Plug the charger directly into the wall power socket without using any extension.

Still the same, I noticed this issue afte the April security patch update. Will update again for the next update to rule out if it's a software issue.

Did the service center do a battery health check?

Do a cache partition clean up. That helps in most of the post update issues.

Thanks for the suggestion but didn't help. Will wait for the next update to rule out any software issues then will leave with the service centre for diagnosis. It charges but kinda inconvenient that it's quite slow.

Since you've already tried using a new charger and cable with no improvement, and the Samsung service center found no issues, there might be a few other factors to consider:

- Check if there are any background apps consuming a lot of power or causing the phone to heat up, as this can slow down the charging process.

- You can check the battery health in the device settings to see if it's degraded significantly.

- Ensure that the charging port on your phone is clean and free from any debris that could interfere with the charging process.

- Make sure your phone is running the latest software version.

- Avoid using your phone heavily while it's charging

- You could try charging your phone using a different power outlet or with a different charging adapter to rule out any potential issues with the power source.

Update: It was a battery issue. Replaced and now it's fine.
