I think that's normal with all the phones. It not only depends on YouTube videos it depends on ambient temperature also. Here the temperature is very hot. My S21 ultra also gets warm while using.

But we tend to compare things.. my old mediocre budget realme device was never like this. So there's that.

It's better to stop comparing things. Then we should start comparing people if this is the case. I'll never compare phones.

Is it the first week of buying phone? I bought three days back and it's also heating like crazy without even doing anything it was literally so hot i was scared it would get caught on fire so i held the phone in front of AC to cool it.

Initially they told to wait for 1 month for the device to adjust by learn the patterns and all, but it's been one month and the phone is literally a iron box. And in my room the temperature will be 24-26 always.

As the chips are getting more and more powerful it tends to generate more heat. This issue is faced by all premium phones these days mostly with SD 8 Gen1 chips.
I wish companies focus more on power efficiency and battery management than making phones super fast.
