Hi Samsung Community,

I’m using a Samsung device with One UI 8 and I noticed that the option to “Lock Secure Folder automatically when leaving the app” is gone. This feature was really useful for keeping my private information safe quickly and easily.

I hope Samsung can bring this feature back in a future update. It would make the Secure Folder much more convenient and secure.

No, you should understand the matter, instead of locking and exiting by clicking on these 3 dots, if it is better then the old one which automatically locks when leaving the app, then that should be restored, it is more secure, you should focus on this.

I am not able to understand what is the reason for this, when it was very safe then what is the need for this, you should restore it, lock secure folder when leaving the app

We understand your concern regarding the change in the Secure Folder's locking mechanism. The option to "Lock and exit" has been introduced to give users more control over when their Secure Folder is locked. 

The auto-lock feature is still available and can be customized to lock immediately when you leave the app. To set this up, please follow these steps:

Open Secure Folder and tap on the three vertical dots (More options) in the top-right corner.

Tap on Settings.

Go to Auto lock Secure Folder.

Select Each time I leave an app to ensure it locks immediately when you exit.

Dear this must be 100+ post on the same topic with same question.
This important feature is shifted from auto to 3 dots inside secure folder.
Don't ask reason or logic bcoz most of the time even Samsung doesn't know the reason or logic behind their doing. They do it just for the sake of making changes in the new update.
