Galaxy SHi Samsung Community,
I’m using a Samsung device with One UI 8 and I noticed that the option to “Lock Secure Folder automatically when leaving the app” is gone. This feature was really useful for keeping my private information safe quickly and easily.
I hope Samsung can bring this feature back in a future update. It would make the Secure Folder much more convenient and secure.
Thanks for listening!

Galaxy SSamsung is continually working to improve the security and user experience of its devices. One UI 8 introduced a fundamental change to Secure Folder, moving its underlying architecture from a "work profile" to a more modern and secure "private profile" to address previous security vulnerabilities.
While the specific "Lock when leaving the app" option has been removed, the new One UI 8 update does offer a "Lock and exit" option within the Secure Folder app's three-dot menu. This allows for manual locking upon exiting the app. Other auto-lock options based on time or screen-off status are also still available.
Samsung encourages users to submit feedback and suggestions for future updates through the Samsung Members app. This is the most effective way to ensure that your request is seen by the development teams.

Galaxy SThe auto-lock feature is still available and can be customized to lock immediately when you leave the app. To set this up, please follow these steps:
Open Secure Folder and tap on the three vertical dots (More options) in the top-right corner.
Tap on Settings.
Go to Auto lock Secure Folder.
Select Each time I leave an app to ensure it locks immediately when you exit.
Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you continue to have concerns, you can submit an error report or an inquiry through the Samsung Members app, which allows the development team to look into the issue in more detail.

Galaxy SThis important feature is shifted from auto to 3 dots inside secure folder.
Don't ask reason or logic bcoz most of the time even Samsung doesn't know the reason or logic behind their doing. They do it just for the sake of making changes in the new update.
