The only effect that i see is, you have to press little harder to unclock your screen using finger prints. Also it depends which type, brand screen protector you are using. I am using UGreen's screen protector and its a bit shiny so reflections are visible. I have to compromise on anti-reflective screen which was main highlight of s24u. Rest is best.
