Screen flash when unlock

Weird problem in S20 FE 5G.. sometimes when unlocking using fingerprint the screen flashes (momentarily entire screen becomes too bright).. seriously it hurts eyes in night ..

There are so many other problems with this optical fingerprint scanner

1. Eye comfort shield won't work in lock screen
2. The brightness level of lock screen is 5% higher and not same with home screen.

Thats how optical scanner works... it captures 2D image of finger and while doing so it flashes light on finger.
Thats why i like capacitive scanners.

The problem is ..the entire screen flashes momentarily.. one can observe this in every 1 out of 5 unlock approximately..there are several concerns already raised in other forums like reddit etc..

Maybe instead of lighting up sensor area its glitching to lighten all screen. (Not sure)

Exactly this is what happening.. only the sensor area should be brightened..that too when finger is placed..

This problem is from lock screen only ..from AOD screen there is no problem I guess.. also how come the same fingerprint works in low brightness from AOD screen .. that means display brightness is not required and Samsung can fix this with software update..

Hi, can you just give the resolution here since it is of concern to many people. Why have to ask people to log into spport when everyone can't see the resolution.
