Is there anyone having screen curtain not working properly after updating to oneUI8?

I still can activate it but it is timing out after 30 sec ( seems following the display timeout setting). It was working perfectly on oneUI7 but it is useless now...!

Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the Screen Curtain feature. We understand the inconvenience caused after the recent update and would like to assist you.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Update your device software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to ensure your phone has the latest patches.
  2. Update Good Lock modules: Since Screen Curtain is linked with Good Lock’s Display Assistant, open the Galaxy Store > My Apps and update Good Lock and all its modules.
  3. Clear cache partition: Power off your device. > Press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears. > Use the volume keys to highlight Wipe cache partition and confirm with the Power button.
  4. Check Display Timeout settings: Navigate to Settings > Display > Screen timeout and adjust the duration, as Screen Curtain may currently follow this setting.
  5. Safe mode test: Restart your device in Safe Mode (press and hold Power > tap and hold Power off > Safe mode) to check if a third‑party app is interfering with the feature.

If the issue persists after completing these steps, we recommend visiting a Samsung Service Center for a full inspection. You can locate your nearest center here: Samsung Service Centers.

Non of the suggested fixed the issue. The default answer never actually did.
We hope that samsung takes our complains seriously instead of having some one just pastes the default answer for all enquiries...
