Galaxy S
I recently updated my phone to One UI 7, Android 15. Before the update, my phone's battery life was good, but now it's draining quickly. Are there any settings I should adjust, or features I should disable? Will an update be released soon to address this issue?

You're not alone — many users have reported increased battery drain after updating to One UI 7 (Android 15). This is quite common after major updates, as the system often continues background optimization for a few days.
Here's what you can try to improve battery life:
1. Clear App Cache (especially for heavy apps):
Go to Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache.
2. Restrict Background Usage:
Settings > Battery & device care > Battery > Background usage limits
Turn on Put unused apps to sleep and review apps that run in the background.
3. Disable Unused Features:
Turn off Location, Bluetooth, or 5G if not needed
Reduce screen brightness or switch to dark mode
4. Use Power Saving Mode:
Helps extend battery life without major performance impact.
5. Check for App Updates:
Some apps may not be optimized yet for Android 15 — updating them via Play Store or Galaxy Store may help.
Will Samsung release a fix?
Yes, Samsung is aware of these reports and is expected to release a patch update soon to address post-update battery issues. Make sure Auto Software Updates is enabled under Settings > Software Update.
In the meantime, monitor battery usage (Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge) to identify any misbehaving apps.
If the problem continues after a week, you may consider wiping the cache partition via recovery mode — I can guide you through that if needed.

Even me have similar issues on my S23 Ultra after update to One Ui7. Now I need to charge the device by noon time again in the evening. One Ui6.1 the battery would last from 100% to 30% by evening time. Not sure what's going on
