Direction lock feature is a quit hidden feature which is also a not-so-regular way to secure your phone. This was firstly implemented with Samsung S8. I highly recommend to use this feature instead of pattern or password lock.
To implement this, follow the steps below:
1. Go to Settings
2. Search for "Direction Lock"
3. Then turn it ON and follow the instructions to set it.
Pro tip: Set more than 6 directions as combination and hide directions.
