Galaxy SPower saving mode is a unique utility that allows you to save the phone’s battery life when it’s too low to operate for an extended period of time, and Samsung devices also offer this feature with additional perks. That brings us to One UI 7, this new version has introduced a few changes in the power saving mode for a better user experience. However, One UI 8 has made a specific change that will make the most sense.
For starters, power saving mode is available via the control panel, but its personalization requires you to visit the settings. To access these, open Control Panel and tap and hold on the power saving mode, which will redirect you to its dedicated user interface. Alternatively, you can open Settings > Battery > Power saving.
The new change entirely belongs to the access part. In One UI 7 and previous versions, Samsung not only enables power saving mode but also lets you impose additional energy restrictions on some performance and display settings, including the following.
- Limit CPU speed to 70%
- Turn off Always On Display
- Decrease brightness by 10%
- Set Motion smoothness to Standard
- Turn on Dark mode
- Set the Screen timeout to 30 seconds
- Enable maximum power saving
