reset your biometrics from samsung pass or else factory reset your phone and again register your biometrics carefully

Have you installed the update they released in starting of march? Prior to that fingerprint was worse than 10k phones, after that it has become snappy as hell with close to perfect detection.

Also if you have a tempered glass installed it is a different story.

ya may be due to tempered class or u didn't kept longer .
u should keep ur finger little longer than other fingerprint sensor
