I wanted to buy a Galaxy S24 Plus as a gift for my mother, but I was surprised that the Snapdragon version was not available, but rather the Samsung processor, which is less powerful and efficient even than the second generation Snapdragon processor from last year. As per my knowledge, you're eligible to return the device within 2 weeks for any manufacturing defects (if you haven't done any physical damages to the device).

I believe your parents wouldn't bother if the processor is snapdragon or exynos. Perhaps all S24/S24 plus reviews are very positive.
Regarding exynos, I have a six years old Galaxy S8 (exynos), still performing well.

I would suggest you to buy S23 Ultra rather than S24+. Mostly you use device for maximum 3-4 years so don't worry much.
