On August 05, 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series, alongside the company introduced the new version of One UI, One UI 2.5. It comes with a bunch of useful features, we will soon cover all of them in our review.
You’ll be getting the One UI 2.5 update too but don’t expect any massive new features though this is very much an incremental update over One UI 2.1. Samsung will gradually start rolling out the One UI 2.5 to its eligible devices including Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, and Galaxy A series of smartphones.
Note: Above devices are now confirmed by Samsung to receive the One UI 2.5 update. For other Galaxy devices, Samsung is still committed to providing the latest update until the hardware specifications allow to provide the optimized mobile experience for the users. The One UI 2.5 features may vary by device.
This is kind of good news for the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series users, which will be the last big software update for the flagships of 2018.
