Samsung Software update

I complained about Android 14 update for my device because it was taking far too long here in South Africa....only to learn it actually takes much longer on other Android devices except Google pixel....I just saw this other brand getting Android 14 just yesterday 😳...Samsung may be slow but is definitely much better than many other Androids

That's usually the case. Samsung is quick on updates, other brands you'll be lucky. The only other exception is Apple but you have to leave android.

Oh yeah Apple is far way ahead, they update all their devices at once..and they were the first brand to have long software support, the competition caught up and surpassed it

Apple will always be first as their older devices will either not get updates or they do, and the older devices' performance degragates. Apple is one vendor, one echo system. Android has so many brands, different specs etc.

But I find that some older Apple devices actually still perform way better than some recent Android smartphones...and since apps are better optimized on Apple even on older devices they tend to perform very well...

Very true, I had a iPhone 6s US carrier locked, and it out performed, so many budget android phones on the market.

Hence I said Samsung should actually do better on the Midrange an older flagship chipset on recent midrange would be way better than the **bleep** Samsung makes

There is no contacts app. You go to the contacts via the Call App
