Had an option between pixel 8 pro and S23 Ultra

Chose S23 Ultra regretting now so badly....

Pixel users got the update way long before and they are ready with Android 16 beta as well and I'm here not even at Android 15 beta.

Pixel phone is made by Google so yea they got the update earlier than any device. But their SoC is very slow as compared to Snapdragon so I don't think you made a bad decision.

Unless you bought a Samsung with Exynos

Every brand has released Android 15 for atleast their flagships. Samsung has screwed up this time.

Pixel 8 pro has signal and heating problems. S23 ultra is the better choice
