Samsung S22 ultra overhearing and a green tiny vertical line on display

Hi everyone,

My Samsung S22 Ultra is overheating and it has started causing a green vertical line to appear on the display. The tiny, fluctuating green vertical line appeared when I started sensing heat in my finger holding it from the back, and I’m really concerned about it. Has anyone else experienced something similar, and is there a known fix or solution for this problem? Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.I've tried basic troubleshooting like restarting the device, checking for software updates, and booting into Safe Mode, but the issue remains. From what I’ve read on other forums, this might be related to hardware failure, overheating, or even recent software updates, but it’s not entirely clear.

If anyone has had success getting this fixed by Samsung, please share your experience!

The screen requires replacement in this case. And Samsung will do everything possible to not provide you a free replacement if the phone is out of warranty. If you push more, they'll still reject it if you bought it more than 3 years ago. Keep pushing and you might get lucky. 

Visit an authorized service center and get the Job Sheet created. This is important as it will be used in all your email communications with Samsung. Try to seek replacement from the Service center itself but most likely you'll end up dealing with the backend team. Do keep the copy of invoice, Job Sheet, and images of the defect, ready to share with the backend team. Good Luck.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept it's as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Facing same issue , the SC has rejected by saying it doesnot fall in the 3yrs warranty my device was purchased in june 2022 its been now 3yrs and 3 months now. They are telling on my face that it wont get free replacement from samsung due to the Policy . Best of luck to you and let me know what happend in your case so that ppl can understand how diffrent SC dealt with the Customers. 
sad to see that samsung didnt rectify this issue with there displays occuring green line 
faced this problem with my S7edge also but i though a generational gaps has reduced this issue but no its still exisist (even in newer model like s25ultra)

I also bought in june 22 and just got display issue today. I was asked to pay for replacement.
