Galaxy SThe screen requires replacement in this case. And Samsung will do everything possible to not provide you a free replacement if the phone is out of warranty. If you push more, they'll still reject it if you bought it more than 3 years ago. Keep pushing and you might get lucky.
Visit an authorized service center and get the Job Sheet created. This is important as it will be used in all your email communications with Samsung. Try to seek replacement from the Service center itself but most likely you'll end up dealing with the backend team. Do keep the copy of invoice, Job Sheet, and images of the defect, ready to share with the backend team. Good Luck.

Galaxy SFacing same issue , the SC has rejected by saying it doesnot fall in the 3yrs warranty my device was purchased in june 2022 its been now 3yrs and 3 months now. They are telling on my face that it wont get free replacement from samsung due to the Policy . Best of luck to you and let me know what happend in your case so that ppl can understand how diffrent SC dealt with the Customers.
sad to see that samsung didnt rectify this issue with there displays occuring green line
faced this problem with my S7edge also but i though a generational gaps has reduced this issue but no its still exisist (even in newer model like s25ultra)
take care
