If your network is on 5g, the device is likely to overheat when coverage for 5g is low. My A22 5g did just that once. Next take the sim slot out once and clean it well and reassemble it. Next thing you know, Your s21 plus upgraded to oneui 4.1 a few months ago, so that may be the reason too.

Hi 👋,
1. Reset your network settings 📶
2. Turn off 5G and use LTE and other
3. And turn on 5G
And if it doesn't work
4. Just reset your device
If my comment is helpful for you accept my comment as a solution 🙂

Hi...
Does it worked normally in previous and have you tried different carriers? 🤔
Anyway, Go to Get Help tab in this app amd select Diagnostic. Then select sim card and check whether any issue in there. ( as in the Screenshot)
Then reset your device and try. Still you have the issue contact a Samsung service center and get help from there.
If my comment is helpful to you, kindly click on the 3 dots and select "Accept Solution"
Thank you 😊
