Galaxy SMy Experience with the Galaxy S21 FE: Disappointed by Samsung’s After-Sales Support in Pakistan
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE for a while now. Overall, it’s a well-designed device with good performance. However, my experience has taken a frustrating turn due to two major issues:
- Overheating: The device has had heating issues since the beginning. While I tolerated it initially, it has only worsened over time.
- Green Line on Display: After a recent software update, a green line suddenly appeared on the left side of the screen. This happened without any physical damage, fall, or pressure on the device.
Upon researching online, I discovered that Samsung has acknowledged this issue globally and is offering free screen replacements for affected devices—even out of warranty. In India, for instance, Samsung has officially announced that this service will be available until December 2025.
Unfortunately, in Pakistan, the response from Samsung Customer Care has been extremely disappointing. They have refused to offer the same support and are providing unconvincing and inconsistent explanations.
As a loyal Samsung customer who paid a premium price for this device, I can’t help but feel let down. Why is there a disparity in after-sales service across countries? Are Pakistani customers less valued?
This situation raises serious concerns about Samsung’s commitment to customer satisfaction and fairness in Pakistan.
