Samsung S10+ screen protector/ silicone

I just bought myself a Samsung Galaxy s10 plus screen protection made out of silicone or neo plex or whatever, and I was wondering: is it really that safe? Does it protect my screen as a TEMPERED GLASS screen protector???

silicon will protect against minimal damage but I think a flip cover would be best because it covers like a book cover and makes sure screen remains intact and scratchless👍👍👍

No screen protector can protect your mobile screen if it fall along a corner. Only a silicon soft case can protect your mobile screen.

Once I got so much angry that I smashed my Asus zenfone 3 with silicon case on wall. Nothing happened to it.
There was a minute dent on the corner.
