Galaxy SThe Pro Plus SD card series will have a sequential read performance of up to 100MB/s and write speed performance of up to 90MB/s, while the EVO Plus will have transfer speed capabilities of up to 100MB/s. The EVO line is targeted towards content creators while the PRO line is targeted towards professionals.
The new cards feature Samsung’s seven-proof protection built-in, which includes protection from water, temperature, x-rays, magnets and shocks, drop-proof up to five-meter drops and wearproof up to 10,000 swipes.
The new cards will go on sale from October 19th and pre-orders start today. Both lineups will come in 4 capacities 256GB, 128GB, 64GB and 32GB. Pricing for the EVO series SD cards are as follows:
- 256GB: $39.99 (Approx. Rs. 2,937)
- 128GB: $19.99(Approx. Rs. 1,468)
- 64GB: $12.99 (Approx. Rs. 954)
- 32GB: $6.99 (Approx. Rs. 513)
Pricing for the PRO series SD cards are as follows:
- 256GB: $49.99 (Approx. Rs. 3,671)
- 128GB: $25.99 (Approx. Rs. 1,908)
- 64GB: $16.99 (Approx. Rs. 1,247)
- 32GB: $9.99 (Approx. Rs. 733)
