Samsung Pay Error

Everytime I try and register a card on Samsung Pay I get the error "Failed to connect to server. Try again later." I have tried resetting the app, restarting the phone, and logging out and back in to my Samsung account without any luck. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Hi, Frostbyte kindly confirm with the Bank used that they support SamsungPay service, the below Banks are supported, check if yours is one of them.

 

Supported cards: Absa Credit, Cheque and Debit cards from VISA and Mastercard. Standard Bank Credit, Cheque and Debit cards from Mastercard. FNB and RMB Private Bank Credit, Cheque and Debit cards. New Discovery Visa cards issued by Discovery Bank (Launched on 25 March 2019). Investec Credit and Debit cards. Nedbank Credit, Cheque and Debit cards from Mastercard, Visa, American Express and British Airways credit cards.

Hi there, it's a Nedbank debit card which is supported. I tried adding the same card on a different phone (same model as my phone) and it worked. It's just my phone that's getting the error for some reason.

Hi, Frostbyte kindly note that your device may need to be booked in for a Software reload. It seems like the current software loaded on your device is malfunctioning. Please go to the below link to locate the closest Authorized Service Center to you.

You can also backup using Smart switch and then factory reset your device. Herewith the Smart switch link:
