Since beta updates for Samsung Galaxy S9, we are facing issues with messages app,
Notifications doesn't work for all the sms received. We have to check the app frequently to see if there is new sms received or not.
After the stable release, this issue still persists. Samsung should have a priority check on this issue.

I don't have cc cleaner installed,
as suggested earlier, I even tried disabling edge notifications but that didn't work too

This is how a flagship phone is killed by Samsung,
I'm relying on google messages for now which seems to be working fine.

Hey, if you're still facing the same issue, then please replicate the issue and do the following:

  1. Record it or take a screencast of the issue in action.
  2. Share dumpstate logs with the customer care

Here are steps to take dumpstate logs:

  1. Replicate the issue
  2. Dial *#9900# in calling app
  3. Choose "Run dumpstate/logcat"
  4. Click "copy to sdcard" when completed.
  5. Find [My File > Storage > Log folder]
  6. Compress the log folder and share with customer care or feedback section.
