Galaxy S
I've always been using a pin to unlock my phone and it's always been about 4 or 5 digits long. However, since I updated my phone a week or so ago, I've been promted to unlock my phone with a password. I went to the lock screen setting to change this back to pin and there were quite a few changes. I now ONLY have the option ofr password and pin (fingerprint and pattern show up, but they're greyed out) and if I choose the pin, it says it should be a minimum of 8 characters now, which is very annoying. I don't even have the option to completely disregard all the lockscreen options and just use a simple swipe.
Please help!

In fact, it provides you with additional security. Use pin and fingerprint, it will make you more comfortable
