With the last 2 updates, the battery life has reduces quite a bit, only getting maximum of 3.5 hrs of usage , and phone heats up constantly, please fix the battery life problem.

3.5 Hours of total usage or just the screen on time? Cause if it is 3.5 hours of total usage, your battery is probably dead.
