Galaxy SI have been a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, a device that served me flawlessly until the April 2024 software update. This update brought an unexpected and frustrating issue: a large white line appearing on my display while watching movies. This sudden problem left me bewildered as I had not done anything to cause it.
Service Center Visit:
Hoping for a quick resolution, I visited the nearest Samsung service center. After diagnosing my phone, the technician informed me that the display needed to be replaced. To my dismay, since my device was out of warranty, I was told I would have to bear the cost of the replacement. Is this fair treatment for a loyal Samsung customer?
A Trust Broken:
There are numerous brands in the market, but I chose to trust Samsung. Unfortunately, this issue has shattered that trust. Despite repeatedly calling Samsung customer care, hoping they would address the issue free of charge, I received no help. They merely registered the complaint and did nothing further.
Daily Embarrassment and Disappointment:
This white line on my display is not just a technical issue; it has become a daily source of embarrassment, especially when taking selfies. It has negatively impacted my experience with a device I once loved, leading to frustration and disappointment.
A Call for Fair Treatment:
I believe that Samsung should take responsibility for issues arising from their software updates for every customers. It's disheartening to see such a lack of support, and I hope Samsung reconsiders their approach to customer service in such cases.

Galaxy SSame issue with my Samsung S21FE. The Samsung support even charged me Rs 177 last week to register my complaint just to come back to me with the same answer that the device is out of warranty and the display will have to be repaired at a cost. Really disappointing!
