The Samsung Galaxy S10E or the Galaxy S10 Lite has been the least leaked smartphone of the three S10 models that are expected to launch at the ‘Unpacked’ event on February 20 in San Francisco. The renders of the regular Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ are already out on the internet, and now the alleged press renders of the Lite variant have been spotted on the internet. Leaked by German website Winfuture, the images solidifies previous claims regarding the design of the phone.
According to the renders, the Galaxy S10E/Lite sports two cameras on the back and one on the front. In comparison, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ are each rumoured to feature a triple camera setup. It has been reported that the Lite variant will not have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The renders show a small indent on the right frame, which is said to be the power button doubling up as a fingerprint reader.
The button under the volume rocker is the dedicated Bixby button. The phone is seen having an Infinity-O display with the punch-hole for the front camera on the top right corner. The renders also show the Galaxy S10E in different colors. According to the source of the leak, Samsung is expected to launch the phone in Black, Green and White colours. It is also claimed that the South Korean electronics giant will also launch a variant in yellow.
Earlier this month, a smartphone featuring the model number SM-G970U was first spotted on Geekbench. It was listed with 6GB RAM and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC clocked at 1.78GHz. It is most likely to debut on the Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC in India. The phone was running on Android 9 Pie. On the benchmarking website, the device scored 1986 and 6266 in single-core and multi-core tests.
Samsung is expected to launch at least three phones, the standard Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and a S10 Plus. Tipster Ice Universe revealed their battery capacity information. As per a tweet, the S10 Lite could feature a 5.8-inch display and might be backed by a 3100mAh battery. The standard S10 model is said to come equipped with a 6.1-inch display and a 3500mAh battery. The S10 plus could feature a 6.4-inch display and sport a 4000mAh battery.
