Press & hold the power key > Restart > Tap again to Restart your phone.
2. To improve recognition performance, register fingerprints of the hand used most often to perform tasks on the device.

Galaxy SAlso, I did let the battery drain and after the next charge, the greenish screen has gone, but the touchscreen issue and fingerprint issue still persists!
