SAMSUNG announced in its official press release for One UI 2.5 rollout on its
S9 Series & Note 9.
The Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series are over two years old at this point and getting to the end of their major support lifespan, in the form of the One UI 2.5 update.
It's a pleasant surprise that the Galaxy Note 9 and S9 will receive the update, as there were doubts months back regarding their chances of getting the One UI 2.1 update. That update has since rolled out for the phones, though.
It's unknown when the S9 & Note 9 will receive the One UI 2.5 update.
