I am facing a serious issue with my Samsung Galaxy M31s smartphone. The device frequently freezes, lags, and automatically restarts. Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot loop.

I have already tried factory reset, Android OS update, One UI update, firmware flashing using Odin Tool, and cache partition wipe from Recovery Mode, but the issue still exists.

I visited an authorized Samsung service center. They checked the phone and said it is a motherboard hardware issue. They mentioned possible problems with the Power Management IC (PMIC), processor (CPU), or RAM chip and suggested full motherboard replacement, which is very costly.

The phone has no physical damage and the lithium ion battery is in good condition. Many Samsung Galaxy M31s users are reporting similar freezing and restart problems online.

Please let me know if this is a known hardware defect and if there is any official solution other than motherboard replacement.

I used M31s for more than 2-years and it was smooth and with no such issues reported online. I changed the device because of update support that was ended after Android 12, the rest device was great for day to day use.
