Samsung Dex for S8+

Hi,

I am trying to find a portable solution for the Samsung Dex system so I had a couple of questions. 

First, Has anyone tried the Dex cable which was introduced for the note 9 on their S8+, and didn't activate Dex or just screen mirroring?

Similiarly, has anyone used a standard USB-C to HDMI converter to use Dex on maybe their home TV or something like that.

Lastly, does anyone know of any lapdocks which the Dex, of the S8+, is compatible with?
