Is the samsung care + really worth it? Its advertised that you pay R499 for 2 years but it's basically only 1 fix per year. 

Then they mention there is a repair fee of R999 that you must pay when you want to fix your phone. 

Yet they say you saving R1500 but you actually have to pay R1500 anyway. 

Am I missing something?

The service is normally R99pm. You saving when paying R499 for 2 years up front. the R1000 payable on repair is a excess fee for the repair.
