Note: There’s no official confirmation about the device listed above. Samsung’s official list of eligible devices may turn out to be different.
How we created this list?
Samsung gives 2 major OS update to most of its smartphones – If you have a Samsung Galaxy device running Andriod 9 Pie and One UI 1.0 out of the box, then you are eligible (technically) for the next 2 versions of Android (Android 10 and upcoming Android 11). We have listed all the devices running Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0, which launched with Android 9 Pie or higher. In addition, we also added a few more devices because we are sure those devices will receive the next Android OS.
To be more clear, you probably won’t get the third major OS update if you have already received two major OS updates.
Example: The Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series have already received their two (Android 9 and Android 10) major OS update, they are not in our list, the same happened with the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 series last year.
