SMS Notification Tone

Hi there,

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5g.

I tried changing the SMS notification tone, but whenever I get SMS I only get system default notification tone.

Please let me know is it possible to change the SMS tone? Or its a kind of bug I face?

Go to message app info>notifications>click on message notifications>try to change it and check if its working or not

Yeah! I had done it earlier. And did again. But not working. Thanks!

2 ways

1. Change notification tone in settings. Go to settings -> sounds and vibration -> notification tone -> choose your desired or fav ringtone.

Other way is got to message app info.... If you are using message app by Google LLC then go to app info -> notification-> other notification-> sound -> choose your SMS tone

And if u are usinf system messages app then go to message app info- > notification -> general notification or new messages->. choose your SMS tone

If nothing works it might be a bug, go and give an error report... Hope this will help you if it helps accept my suggestion as solution by clicking on the 3 dot beside my comment....😀😀
