Hi there,
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G and using Jio 4G SIM
I am experiencing SIM network issue only in SIM Slot 1.
Whenever the SIM is in SIM slot 1, every other day it gives an error that 'No SIM inserted". Only way to fix this issue is to remove and insert the SIM, switching off and on, simple restart or even going into airplane mode doesn't solve the issue.

Primarily it looked like an issue with SIM card, but that is working fine in SIM Slot 2.

Anyway to fix this?

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing. We understand your concern and will help you resolve this. Kindly try to restart your phone, if the problem insists, you can refer to the below steps:

1: Try existing SIM cards with another phone: If SIM is faulty then visit the nearest service provider. If the phone SIM slot is faulty then visit the nearest service center.

2: Try the existing phone with the new SIM Card: If the new SIM is working then the old SIM is faulty then please visit the service provider. If the phone SIM slot is faulty then visit the nearest service center.

When the SIM card cannot be detected, there are other possible causes:

Step 1: The SIM card is not inserted properly.
Step 2: Loose a SIM card slot will cause the card to lose the connection with the reader of the device. You can try to apply some pressure to the slot check again if the slot holds the SIM properly.
Step 3: Dust over the slot and SIM card reader making the slot incapable of reading the card properly. Gently wipe the contacts or use compressed air to remove it.

Take note: Do not apply excess pressure on the slot as it might cause permanent damage.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report/Ask questions).

Thank you for writing to Samsung.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
