Galaxy SThank you for reaching out. We understand that you're experiencing an issue where your eSIM turns off when trying to enable SIM 2 on your Samsung S24 Ultra. We apologize for the inconvenience.
To resolve this issue, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Restart Your Device: A simple restart can help resolve temporary software glitches that may be causing this issue.
- Check for Software Updates: Ensure your device is up to date by going to Settings > Software Update. If a new update is available, please install it.
- Check eSIM Settings:
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager.
Ensure both eSIM and physical SIM are set up correctly. Sometimes, the issue arises if the eSIM is not properly activated or if there’s a conflict between the SIMs. - Reset Network Settings: If the issue persists, try resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will not affect your personal data but will reset your network settings (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Re-add eSIM: You can try removing and re-adding your eSIM. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager > eSIM and remove it, then follow the prompts to add it back again.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please reach out to us again. We can also guide you to the nearest service center for further inspection. You can find the nearest service center here:
https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/service-center/
We hope this helps and look forward to resolving your issue.
