SAMSUMG UPDATE POLICY

Being a samsung customer, I want to share my experience with samsung I brought Note2 when it was launched then i got s8 and now s9. Using these samsung devices and seeing past record i feel that it is very bad how samsung treat its flagship after 2 years. Samsung should seriously consider this and major flagships should be able to recieve continuous updates so that they don't feel left out. Also the one ui is delayed in India which doesn't seem reasonable.

As per their latest policy.. Every flagship will have 2 years of OS update support and 3 years of Security update support. This is applicable from Galaxy S8 onwards.

Even galaxy S4 got feature updates for 2 years. S6 got 2 years feature updates and 6 months security updates after that (not regularly), Samsung says they are planning on rolling out Oreo for S6, idk much about S7, it might receive Pie

I agree but see the number of models iphone has and the number of models of samsung... It caters to entire market
