Hope so, still you can use new Google camera app to get better results. Google lens blur creates good effects like portrait mode.

you can google it. I got it via xda developers. Search for google camera app for galaxy s8 exynos

There were rumors that it will get portrait mode so it may be possible that they will implement new camera and features.
