with s8 screen . even though it's is sold as scratch resistance . the screen is not actually ment for it. I have been using note 3 for years without any screen protector it's very reliable and robust. But with S8 even just few months of usage S8 Screen observed little scratches. which is disappointing .

S8's screen resists scratches from any physical objects which fall below level 6 in Mohs scale of mineral hardness, which includes metal keys, and even stainless steel knives. On the personal front, I never used a screen guard and I never had any kind of scratches on any of my phones in recent years.
