S7: Aug'19 Security Patch - The Slaughter

Dear Samsung,

Hope you understand the consequences of shipping flawed patches like the one last sent (August 2019 Security Patch) for Samsung Galaxy S7.

This update has made all attempts to kill the device. Performance has deteriorated drastically especially the battery backup. 

Patches like these further strengthens the fact that smartphone manufacturers intentionally try to down grade performance of devices to bolster the sale of newer models. But what they don't understand is such a tactic only diminishes customer's trust on the brand.

Furthermore, seriousness of Samsung is also evident from the frequency at which they reply to member's queries/grievances on this forum. I'm sure anybody from their support team hardly even cares to visit this thread..

Hey, you can try reporting this bug in the Error section with the logs.
That might help..

i have two s7 variants , there is no such issues , still its operating at 12 to 13 hrs battery backup with all usage from games to online other activities

s7 is old device of its life ,

how old is your device??

I used to be getting exactly the same, 12-13 hours.. But now it's hardly 8.5-10 hours..
My device is 20 months old..
