Thank you for reaching out regarding the battery performance on your Galaxy S26 Ultra. We understand your concern about the faster battery drain compared to the initial weeks of usage.

Battery performance can vary over time due to usage patterns, apps running in the background, and system processes. Please follow the steps below to optimize battery usage:

  1. Check Battery Usage:
Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Usage Since Full Charge. Identify apps consuming high battery and restrict background activity if needed.
  2. Enable Adaptive Battery:
Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > More Battery Settings > Adaptive Battery. This limits battery usage for apps you use less frequently.
  3. Update Device Software and Apps:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Update all apps via Galaxy Store or Play Store to ensure they run efficiently.
  4. Restart Device Regularly:
Restarting the device helps refresh system processes and can reduce unnecessary battery drain.
  5. Reduce Unnecessary Background Activity:
Settings > Apps > Select apps with high battery usage > Battery > Restrict background usage.
  6. Check for High-Performance Apps:
Streaming, gaming, and navigation apps consume more battery. Use them on Performance or Optimized modes via Game Booster or Device Care to balance performance and battery life.

If the battery continues to drain faster despite these steps, we recommend visiting the nearest authorized Samsung service center for a detailed inspection:

Thank you for getting back to me.
I have done most of these steps since i got the phone
Adaptive battery and i restart the phone every some days.
The phone is on the latest software version.
And i put all of the apps on the phone into deep sleep while not using since 2 days ago ( which it shouldn't be like that, i did that to test the battery only ).
And i am not a gamer at all.
And after all of that, the battery is still not good at all, it went down 10% last night while i was sleeping and moat the apps are in deep sleep.

Thank you for your detailed follow-up and for confirming that you have already applied the suggested steps. We understand your concern regarding the continued battery drain on your Galaxy S26 Ultra, especially during idle time.

Kindly note that battery drain during standby can sometimes be caused by background system processes such as network activity, synchronization, or weak signal conditions, even when most apps are in deep sleep.

To further isolate the issue, please try the following:

  1. Check network signal strength:
Weak signal may cause the device to consume more power while searching for connection. You may try enabling Airplane mode overnight as a test.
  2. Disable unnecessary sync:
Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Turn off sync for accounts not needed.
  3. Adjust location settings:
Settings > Location > Location services > Improve accuracy > Disable Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning.
  4. Review Always-On Display:
Turn it off or set it to “Tap to show” instead of always active.
  5. Reset settings:
Settings > General management > Reset > Reset all settings (this will not delete your data).
  6. Test in Safe Mode overnight:
This helps identify if a third-party application is causing the drain.
If the battery continues to drain abnormally (such as losing around 10% or more during idle), this may require a technical inspection.

We recommend visiting the nearest service center for further diagnosis. You can locate the nearest service center through the following link:

Hi
Thank you for following up on this,
I did the steps days ago and there was no change.
I even put all the apps into deep sleep.
And i visited the samsung service center near me on saturday.
They told me the phone will need full reprogramming, it is like deleting everything even the software and reprogram it.
So i did that.
And still am having the same draining issue ( not only on idle )
For example, yesterday i had a 31 minutes call, not a video call, normal call, and the battery went down 16% on that time.
16% on 31 minutes call !!
That means with this rate
The phone cannot perform more 3 hours call and it will turn off from full to zero !
While, i have been using samsung phones for more than 15 years maybe, since galaxy S4 and i never had this issue, imagine am facing it with the best samsung mobile ever made now !!
