S26 ultra quick battery drain

Has anyone else experienced quick battery drain on the Samsung S26 Ultra while the phone is just sitting idle? Even when background applications and everything else are closed, the battery continues to drain. Has anyone faced this issue where the battery drops even when the phone isn't being used ?

If you are in 5G network area and
If signal is weak, phone keeps searching drains battery
Very common in areas with unstable coverage

using strong 5g wifi network at home bro

You can use 5G and WiFi, but if 5G is available in your area, your phone will keep trying to switch to 5G. Since 5G is currently unstable, this can cause battery drain.

If you just got the device, the battery optimization hasn't kicked in yet. It takes about 7–10 days for the system to learn usage patterns
