Yes, there are multiple user complaints regarding a camera quality downgrade on the  after updating to One UI 8.
Users have reported the following specific issues:
  • Dull and low-quality photos: Images appear less sharp and lack clarity compared to previous versions.
  • Blurry images: The overall picture quality is described as blurry, especially moon shots and zoomed-in details.
  • Telephoto lens performance degradation: The quality of images taken with the telephoto (zoom) lens has reportedly decreased significantly.
  • Washed-out colors: Some users notice faded and washed-out colors in their photos.
  • Expert RAW issues: The Expert RAW camera option has reportedly stopped working for some users after the update.
  • General dissatisfaction: Some users expressed regret, feeling that the camera quality is not as expected for the device.
Users experiencing these issues are advised to report them through the Samsung Members App to the customer support team, including log files, and wait for a future software update to fix the problems. Clearing the camera app cache has also been suggested as a potential, though not guaranteed, solution.
