My phone frequently and repeatedly disconnects from various Bluetooth devices, including:

  • Car Infotainment System
  • VIZIO Home theatre
The disconnections occur every few minutes, during media playback, immediately after a phone call, etc.

Kindly address this issue

Hi,
This appears to be a fairly widespread issue (at least within user‐forums), not just a single isolated case.
Some users report it happens specifically when using car audio or certain Bluetooth accessories.
Some reports say that the Bluetooth issue was part of a broader problem that led to updates being pulled in certain regions.
However, here are steps you can run through.

1. Restart Bluetooth & your phone
Turn Bluetooth off, forget the device, then pair again.
Restart your phone.
See if the glitch persists.

2. Clear Bluetooth cache / system cache
Go to Settings → Apps → Show system apps → Bluetooth (or Bluetooth Share). Clear cache and data.
Also consider going to Settings → Device care → Storage → Clean now to clear general cache.

3. Update firmware / check for follow‐up patches
Make sure the phone has the latest security/firmware update after One UI 8. Sometimes bugs like this get patched quickly.

4. Safe mode / Selective test
Boot the phone into safe mode (which loads only core apps) and then test Bluetooth. If it works fine in safe mode, then a third‐party app might be interfering.

5. Factory reset (as a last resort)
If nothing else works, back up your data and perform a factory reset.
