Hello,

I have recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S24 and using it with dual eSIM feature.

I have noticed one strange thing with this. I had never experienced it before. I have noticed that while registering to my bank apps, the verification msg is not sending using the correct sim.

I am using my primary # on eSIM1 and secondary on eSIM2. The contact number is correctly displaying at settings > connections. While choosing eSIM1 in my bank app for verification, it sends the sms from eSIM2. This is quite strange because I had selected sim 1 while relogin to the app but as it's sending the sms from different number I was unable to login.

I had to select SIM 2 and then it sends the message from the eSIM1 and then I was able to re login to my bank app.

I am not sure if it's related to that bank application but I have faced this problem with my 3 bank applications where I had to select sim2 so that it sends msg from eSIM1.

Note: I am not using any physical sim card as it's supports dual eSIMs.

I hope the right person would note this down and fix this in upcoming updates if it's related to the samsung.

Thanks

Before resetting I would have one thought to temporary turn off the secondary eSIM and then register to the bank app.

I am mentioning this because resetting the factory data would uninstall the eSIM as well and after that I have to wait 24hrs more to start the SMS services as the service provider will block the sms services on eSIMs for next 24 hours from thr eSIM installation
